I Think I'll Tell ya What...

that saying just makes me giggle! One of the good old boy sayings you will hear from my Uncle Fred when he is about to explain something. I teased him last week when he said it, and even wrote it down in Aspen's school~onthe~road book so I wouldn't forget it...now I am thinking about saying it!

Busy day around here today, I now have a new fixed tire ...no more pumping air, but now have to book a service call. Lots of running thru town to...shopping laundry fit some school in somewhere...we actually made a schedule SORTA. A weekly chart of what to do each day...so we will see how that goes. Normally it is a busy place here at the crack of dawn. Today alone, the kids have fed the chickens, Aspen has created some art for her desk area, Ryki wrangled a giraffe and a crocodile in the jungle called the living room and I have finished my flickr'n fix for the morning. Now the two little ones are practicing their soccer outside in the morning sun...while the nanny barks at a passerby. I thought soccer was over for the year, but the soccer ball was found on Saturday during an intense hunt for crawdad! It was presumed popped by damn dog and lost to the sacrifice of the creek gods. Daisy has found her bright pink ski pole now though so I think the soccer ball is safe for now.

On a IN THE NEWS note I have to say I have done a lot of head shaking lately. Let's see...things that drive me batty!

In the recent wake of the baby formula scandal in China...a horrible event effecting the most innocent in our world, the local news presented a story about local establishments that post breastfeeding friendly stickers on their doors. They interviewed people on the street for their opinions. I wasn't surprised by the amount of woman that expressed their beliefs in the health benefits of breastfeeding, but what did surprise me was how many women finished their comments with "but it should be done very discreetly, always covered up, maybe even a separate room would be in order" One lady even went as far as saying she thought there should be bylaws of some sort that would prevent mothers from feeding in say...public parks because there are teenage boys around and "ya know shat they will be thinking about" Are people really that dumb they think a teenage is going to get off in the park watching a mom feed a baby? I am very FOR breastfeeding. In all my years I can count two woman (who were cousins?) who were actually the type of mom's to flip out their boob on the table to feed a child. I am shocked in this day and age people remain scared of nature's milk!

And of course there's politics...what a joke! Kinda hard I would say for Canadians to make informed decisions on who they want to vote for when the parties do nothing but bash the other guys every chance they get...how saying what the hell you are planning to do for a change?

Travelling?? well if you plan on taking a bus...be prepared to defend your life! This summer an incident on a bus resulted in a young man travelling home not only losing his life, but his head! This was after a crazy man on the bus lost his mind. A rare incident they all said, extra security not needed? Well yesterday, a "routine?" occurrence happened just north of me. The local police force put a man on the bus to travel south. Apparently a common thing when vagrants are stuck in rural communities without means or leaving. The police will pay for the ticket outta town. This man yesterday had recently been jailed along with a brief stay in hospital where it was deemed he was not crazy enough to keep in the hospital. So do you think the idiots putting the crazy on the bus bothered to check him out when they added him to the mix of passengers?! No, invade his personal space/ crazy right? well it resulted in the man stabbing another passenger in the chest, and once again bus travel is looking like it needs a few upgrades. Oh and the bus company reported it is very common practice to put vagrants on the bus, but the police do not have to inform them of the transfers?? wtf?!

on a family blender issue, there was an amber alert posted last night on tv. Involving a father and his "abducted" son on the run. They described the boy as 13yrs old, 5.5ft tall and 160lbs. I questioned right away of the ability to abduct a "child' of that age and size, only to see the next alert upgraded declaring the boy autistic. Now I realize this morning I know nothing about this situation. But if I had to speculate? I would wonder if this is really an abduction? or a father with no where else to turn? This man now has his face, name and description plastered on the tv across the country ... a man hunt on?! I hope that it is not an abduction really, I hope that this man and son can find their way to a safe home, and if it is as I predict...maybe a dad fighting the only way he can for his son?? I hope they get away fast, finding that safe new home to be a family

and finally $$$$$ Where the fuck do they come up with the cost of things these daze?? everytime I hear something about money I have a picture of Mike Myers in my head in that Austin Powers movie (which annoys me) I do not understand how soooo many millions can be floating around everywhere...but there are people starving in the streets, living in fema trailers still, fighting to pay their bills . and denied medical attention .. these are a few examples that really annoy the fuck outta me...

superbowl commercials....$8million for a fifteen second commercial WTF??

bankrupt banks....have head hunchos that collected b/tw 11-33million dollars each in salaries last year ...for going bankrupt?? WTF

the amount of money spent on 'advertising' our politians? enough said...ridiculous...!!!

it would be nice if sometimes these millions went to something that matters...ya know food for kids, medicine and treatment for those who do not have the coverage or the means to pay, etc

I think I'll tell ya what....if I had a million's dollars....I'd be rich??? NOT

Ketchup

Well just in case you were wondering....no I didn't fall off the blogging truck, I just had a flat tire! which seems like goes with life right now as I look out the window at my car...also with a flat tire??! last week was just one of those weeks when the world was spinning around fast and so was my head!

This morning a little ketchup on Life on the Shoeless Acres.

Last week started with a roadtrip back home. A visit to Uncle Fred's farm, our home away from home. A chance to hang and hug the family...including Daisy who gets to hang with her mama and gramma while there! The good news on the doggiefront?!
1. she seemed to have learned her lesson this time, did not chase the cars...DID NOT get hit!!
2. she got along phenomenally with her Mama (last time the bitches were scrap'n) and
3. Daisy went on her first 'hunt" with Uncle Fred into the back country of the farm to the tree stand (aka car in the bush) there was no actual hunting going down but I am proud report that the great deer slayer (fred) has declared Daisy to have the instincts of her Mama and the potential for a great hunting dog...first official season comes in November!
We also had the chance to have Sunday night Dinner at my parents NEW house~! even better it was attended by both of my sisters, Jay my BIL, and my two and a half nieces/nephew. A rare occasion really, to be honest I can't remember the last time we were all around the table. A good sign for the new house. Their old one they had for 28years. I was six when we moved there...happy times, happy memories growing up on Proton St. More room, beautiful yard...huge trees, a garden, plum trees...I must say my parents have chosen the perfect home! (Go Homer...my dad..not his name just a nickname we gave him as children...BEFORE SIMPSONS...its an endearing term about his farmlife heritage) My nieces...cute as buttons~! Illonna started school this year for the first time, her baby sister cried as she got on the bus, and her Daddy followed suit! Now the baby in the belly??? I will say..."holy jumping monkey!" The face on Aspen was priceless when she felt the baby rock and roll inside Aunt Sherri's belly! And the face on everyone else also priceless when Ryki announced no thanks to touching the belly, and "it just better be a damn boy this time cuase we got enough girls around here already!"
Also on our list...the doctor's office! Family size appointment for the crew with our family doctor who we have not seen in three years! As a breast cancer survivor she was looking fantastic, and told me she feels great, great to see her really and the smiles on the nurses faces when they got to see Aspen and Ryki walk thru the doors. Fav patients back in the day were my two little babes! But a couple funny notes? we spent one hour with the doctor total, four people. yearly checkup on the brats, "yearly" checkup for Mama, and a hello and script for hubby. Her time booked for the day? 1-4...she got the rest of the day off? and still people wait to get an appointment? final note~ I got a fucking head cold the next day and I blame my children for having to pee in the medical centre bathroom....have I ever mentioned I am a bit of a germophobe? I am guessing by my head last week....the season of the mini mitts will be coming soon!

Home again Wednesday just in time to pick up my fall season of farminals. WTF I was thinking when I decided to order twenty more chickens I do not know! I was just getting to the point I could sleep till 7:30 almost and now! back to feeding fucking chickens at 7am! It is worth it in the end cause I gotta say there is nothing better than roasting one of my own birds...if I could apply a smell factor to this blog..you would be drooling now! Ryki has jumped right in and does the morning feed everyday with me...and if I do not wake him first...there are tears involved...lesson learned...my cute little chicken farmer!

and finally our awesome weekend with company on the Acres! I have to confess I am really a spoiled brat...blessed to have such great friends all over who treat my little family as good as their own! We have been shown such generosity over the summer I am truly warmed to the heart! One of our new friends is Bev...my webmasterB, a beautiful woman, mama...truly inspiring. She came up for the weekend with her son Mike...also a great soul!
notes of fun..
1. chatting and giggling....the best parts
2. sitting in her cadillac LOL lots of buttons..its like a spaceship kinda. lesson learned...do not think i should drive one I picture myself driving off the road looking for the on button on the radio
3. wonderful gifts! Bev spoiled us rotten with stuff for the kiddies...puzzles fresh veggies etc!! She blessed our home with a beautiful piece of stain glass art...Bev's art I can't wait to find it a home to hang! and heeheehee! a handmade pair of socks!!! and for this girl with caveman feet! that's my all time fav thing to wear !
4. Bev's son Mike spent some time down by the local town docks fishing. He called on Saturday afternoon saying he needed someone to come down, he caught a big fish! I figured since he had taken Hubby's bike...it must be big! I grabbed the net, and a bag and found mike down on the shoreline. A huge 10lb northern Pike lying on the grass! WOW! I held the bag open as he told me his fishing tale of the big catch. He looked down at me (very tall LOL) and said "ummm I can't pick that thing up! that's why I called I am scared its gonna bite me!" Now in Mike's defense ... the great northern pike does have rows of razor sharp teeth that can cut you, and he did manage to hold it long enough for a local fisherman who helped him get it to shore after his line snapped take a pic with his camera. I will have to check with Bev..he may have utubed the catch! STILL it was little loony to the rescue as I picked up his fish!
5. Sunday morning breaky....my favorite food in the world I could eat it 24-7 fresh fish fryed in a tonne of butter and salt..YUMMY

and now Monday...dealing with a flat tire on a car that needs some oil change sorta service...dealing with the fact that I am getting good at filling my own tire??? something I have always turned to a man (with a smile) to do for me...strangers, hubby, anyone standing close to the air thing! getting back to school for the week....which took an on the road uturn last week cause my head just could not think past augh! and looking at the grey clouds thinking...damn no laundry on a possible rain day!

on to my week!

FABULOUS!! its Friday!

a rainy Friday...but still....FRIDAY!!!
and I will say a much better morning than Thursday was! No thanks to my own habits of never saying no to a free bottle of Shiraz...lesson learned maybe, but I am guessing not.

This was our first week of school here @ the Shoeless Acres Academy and I have to say I couldn't be happier. My wee ones R like little sponges eager to learn and start the new year of school. We started this week with just the basics, some math, some spelling, and YES!!! Aspen is reading!!! still with lots of time for sounding the words out, and even more imagination at what the next word will be...but its reading! I suggested that she read one page a day for now, out of her beginners book... a Little Bear story, and Aspen decided that three pages would be a better start!! I LOVE it when they choose to do more!! Better yet, Ryki is showing a very keen interest in learning to read to! Now I do realize in some eyes Aspen should be reading by now, but this Loony teacher has not placed a large focus on reading in the past couple of years due to the fact...I have two to teach, and Ryki was not quite ready..or interested. My hopes have always been they would be learning together, and with any luck...this is our year!!! Next week we will start to get into other studies...geography, french, and whatever they choose they would like to learn about....Aspen is leaning towards a hamster project, and Ryki of course...wants BUGS! A successful start to our year I think, but as far as a schedule, or time .....that is on the list to, learning how to tell the time that is, the schedule is a whole other story. I would like to tell you we get up, and start school at 9am...but we don't! Usually the day starts with some random play, Ryki loving the play do right now, and me check'n my puter, and thru out the day we get our stuff done. ie/ last night it was Salmon and salad for dinner with our spelling on the side. Yup..I am not much good making a schedule!!

So some news around the Acres this week...... first the sad, it would seem we R a one cat household again. With my Squawker gone missing in May, there was a fatal meeting last Thursday between our MamaKat (who was seven) and Mofo the husky. And While she ran away from him after the fatal shake'n, she has not returned :( the Kitty drove me Batty but still I am missing her. On the good news...our super nanny Nishka turns eleven this month!!! Hard to believe the old girl and I have made it this far! Strange to think about all she has seen in her years, the circus years, the nanny years, all good years to hold on to....although I am sure my love would remember a few of the early years too. Nishka was a two yr old when we met...and what some might call a feisty little puppy! Many a daze we would find ourselves driving the MG around the beach as she chased...cause once she got on the loose...there was no stopping her till she wore herself out. Often we would take her and her big bro Kyus not for a walk, but a drive outside of town to the county forest just to let them run....not to mention the tourists tended to be the ones running when they saw those two on the lose. Kyus was at least twice the size of Nishka and averaged 180lbs...big dogs with those black and tan scares!!!

The bunkie has received some new reno's this week too! My love arriving home with a load of siding from work...FREE because it was sun faded, adding some final touches to the exterior. Note the free stuff is also Baby blue??? so my guess would be ...it will be changed when a new & better FREE color comes along.

and finally... a funny for Friday to cap off my blog. A story I have shared with some flickr friends, but a story at a week old...still makes me laugh.

WARNING THIS INVOLVES SOME CUSS'N

background...my brats cute and adorable also have a tendancy to swear. Not the bad kind of swearing...and only on the Acres is the general rule. You will hear Ryki in the creek shouting 'damn it the crawdad got away" or maybe a holy shit here and there, even now and then a big ass bug may come into our day. Our theory is... shit is shit, and damn it we don't mind. They never use them in a derogatory manner or to put down a person...so the hell with it, damnit ~ they swear.

Last Saturday I was hanging clothes on the line with Aspen beside me helping. Daisy was tied to the tree and I was griping because I was going to have to give her a flea bath. I then mentioned that I hoped the 'little bitch' would be good for me.' Aspen right away jumped up and said that I should not use that word to talk about Daisy, it is a bad word and not very nice at all. So I explained to my little woman that bitch is actually a real word and that it means .. a girl, or female dog. Without hesitation she looked at me and said... 'so than what are boy dogs then ? fucking losers' ????? needless to say...I nearly peed my pants laughing, and Aspen Jane does not think it is fair that girl dogs have to be bitches and boy dogs get to be studs! note: considering the sex-ed they have already got this year...I did not bother to go into the details of the definition of stud! Funny how little minds see things eh???

love and giggles with the Shitdisturber

One of the first things I noticed about my love when we met, was his uncanny ability to cause shit~! not the bad kind of shit, mostly the funny kind. Those times when you R told you cannot do something..but ya do it anyways, or those times when you know someone else cannot do something...but you know that you can!

Yesterday was one of those daze for my love. One of those daze where the work for the day was really pure hell. Using his brains, strength, and know how to get the job done...without anyone getting hurt, and everyone satisfied at the end of the day that it was a a job well done. He went in the truck to the local Army Base to replace some (very large) units of glass. Now Dennis has worked on this base before, so he is well aware of the many security procedures, and regulations people must follow when on base. One of the 'rules' however is one that makes him laugh...one of those technicalities of Army life that says right away..."army life is not for my man" The rule involves the well groomed landscaping on the base...otherwise known as 'The Queen's Grass" and if you are a member of the Army...DO NOT STEP ON THE QUEEN"S GRASS. My love giggles with the thought of returning to the base for work, harassing the commissionaire who must escort and supervise their every move with questions about THE GRASS. Does the Queen send special seeds for the grass? or import sod from Britain? Why is it the Queen's grass exactly? is it still Canadian? Do they send pics home to the castle so that the Queen might watch as her grass grow?

So of course, as my love pulled into the base yesterday, with the boss in the truck, passing thru the required checks, getting their assigned commissionaire to escort them, and directions for the work...what do you think my love the shitdisturber did? Yup he drove right across the Queen's Grass to get to the location, delivering the glass. He spoke of how his boss wide eyed asked "wtf? we are supposed to stay off the grass?!" to which he replied "this is not my first time at the rodeo eh? " knowing that many people knew who the ass was driving on the grass. Knowing that as a civilian...there R no penalties for touching the sacred grass....knowing that as he drove across...many grins, smirks and brows were raised, some even jealous maybe of his closeness to the grass! One of those annoying stupid rules that my love takes pleasure in breaking, continuing to entertain himself by dancing little jigs on the lawn as the Army Guys passed by. Finally arriving home with a large tree branch attached to his glass rack..."here Ryki, I brought this home for you today...its part of the Queen's Tree!"

These are the times in life when a good shitdisturb'n makes ya giggle, when you can poke fun at the serious in life (or ridiculous???) and smile cause...ya got to dance on the Queen's Grass!

Not the typical Sunday...Making for a Slow Monday

too much fresh air? running around, and climbing to new heights...that was our day yesterday not to mention learning new things...ie/ did you know that you can pull a donut in the lake with a 27ft sailboat? until last night I never knew! imagine the fun of finding out when you are in the donut spinning sailboat, wondering if you will see land again.

so our day started bright and early as usual, by 9:30am I was ready to duct tape my children to trees until it was time for their buddies bday party. the goonies phoning by 10am to come hang before the party...to which I said NO..my goonies were clean and were gonna stay that way atleast for the moment we arrived @ the party..after that..back to dirtbag mode of mud and dirt and grass from the pool. A fun bday party many children running around, girls against the boys...and many screams. The girls attack...forced makeup on the boys...a makeover for them. At four oclock things winding down, our friend G invited us for a sunset sail...meet @ the club @ 7pm...fantastic...I was hoping for this invite all day. Off to the Acres, for some dinner and rest...until of course the goonies arrived minutes later (they also attended the party) My love and I putting the gentle breeze to use to fly the kites (he flew I take pics while sitting in the sun) Then the crash...my love's frown, and Loony to the rescue. The kite was up the tree...one of the tallest of the pines on the property...but really! one of the best climbing trees you could hope for. with a boost and a nudge I was forty feet up (wishing I had thought to bring my camera) catching the kite, and putting the smile back on my love's face...a smile with a eyebrow...he didn't think I could do it...with lots of 'don't step there! your gonna fall?! who the hell he thought he was talking to I am not sure! I have climbed trees all my life!

and finally...the final journey of the day...something I have been looking forward to since our first sunset sail with G. little did I know how different two sails can be. It would seem G could use a bit more practice on his new boat. mainly from my observations...maintenance of the lines....ya know so you can see what the hell you R pulling before pulling. I admit I giggled...laughed and smiled as I realized the reason we kept turning around heading back out into the bay was because our friend G was not having an easy as pie time sailing his boat. Long story short..yes a 27ft sailboat can pull donuts in the bay! I am guessing there R many lakefront peeps laughing today to, cause the entertainment of watching the sailboat last night had to have been priceless...especially when they turned on their cottage lights to see what the noise was....to see a freak'n sailboat nearly beaching on their shoreline....yeah fantastic driving by G last night! I am guessing his plans to buy a NEW fishing boat come fall will be put off for a while...cause I think his neighbour at the yacht club slip will need some funds first...yup! he hit another sailboat while parking in his slip!!!! (insert image of me just shaking my head) needless to say we will probably not be sailing in the foreseeable future with our friend G...until further notice he knows what the hell he is doing! oh boys...boys and their toys is all that can be said!

Time

Is there ever enough time in our day? Is it something we really need to find? or is it something that is really just part of our day, part of our life that flys by?

When I was a 'little one', time was something I was taught about by my mom. She is very organized when it comes to time, she taught me to respect it, follow it, and pay attention to it. Always making sure I knew if there was a time to be somewhere...arrive fifteen minutes early to "be on time", along with finding the time to make it on time. Schedules were set, lessons learned...my Mom is BIG ON TIME.

Now as a 'big person' I wonder how crazy it drives my Mom...cause really I have no use for time. I learned early on the trick about the fifteen minutes early? really means fifteen minutes of extra work when you show up 'on time' or fifteen minutes of more waiting, on top of the waiting for those appointments where others have lost time. I remember as a teen I loved watches...wearing them on my right arm..cause it was different for the time...wearing more than one, set to all times...I think at one time I even wore one on my ankle. Strangely even then, I do not have many memories of watching the time....wondering, exploring, and searching...until of course it was Mom's time..of being home..on time! I had a friend who was classified a genius in school...musically, artistically, academically, she was brilliant yet could not tell time?

with the upcoming season of our Shoeless Acres Academy about to begin, time is on my mind. with time comes a schedule, with schedules come organized ritual habits following the time, making our way thru our day. I have issues with time, and schedules...I am working to swing into gear...to schedule our day. But will confess now...this is gonna be a chore. The basics R easy, I know what must get done, but to wake to each day and follow a clock? I am not sure I can do it, not sure I want to, not sure if I am ready to change our free flowing ways of daze to be a slave to the tick tock of the clock.

Time is on my mind

Before I began my post today, I walked thru the house and wrote down the time, the time I see around the house....for those of you who are my flickr friends...this will explain the time on my photos...why you will see a photo of the sun, only to read the details and see the time...taken @ night???...I am a turn it on, hit ok, and go with the time its got kinda loon! no time for time kinda loon

My clocks today

Kitchen oven 8:29am
Kitchen clock 8:26
Bathroom Clock 1:29~possessed and never on time...but a sun that I love
Bedroom Clock 9:14am~cause my love likes time to be ahead to sleep longer???
fax machine 23:15 ~whatever the hell that means ... just before midnight I think
and my camera 08/18/08 12:20am ~note to self....remember to take the time to take the dam time and date stamp off the photos..drives me crazzee when I get a great shot with the time running thru it!!!

Today i suppose i should start to pay attention to the time, the brats R taking the time to make their own breakfast, I must find some time to do laundry, and avoid the time to clean the house !

time drives me nuts...I must change this attitude soon (maybe) the countdown begins... ten more days till we will organize our time, begin the Academy of learning on the Shoeless Acres...and oh ya...finalize the learning..how to tell time!
(note~considered starting school early this year..but considering the goonies called this morning at ...before 8amish...might as well wait til they return to school to...giving me more time!!)

The Family Blender..see post 99...actually skip it is is really depressing seeing the realities and piles of shit we deal with(not the pile of shit got bigger just last night...but I am NOT dwelling on stupid people anymore!)

Family..
My loony goonies R doing fantastic and ready to start back to school (not sure if I am..but will get there ASAP) My love arrived home early yesterday giving me an opportunity to take an afternoon nap...aka really just watching General Hospital with my eyes closes. As usual the nap only lasted 15mins when Aspen was shouting in the vent above me..."r U sleeping yet ? we caught two baby snakes, do you want to see them?" no nap and no last fifteen minutes of GH! but two cute little snakes? in my antique can. Fun for the brats as they took the chance to 'learn how to pick them up and not jump and scream while doing it'
We attended the 28th annual Kelly Cunneyworth Reunion (one would think after 28years I would know how to spell cunniworth??? luckily I am a Kelly~!) As usual many annoying moments, but the smiles, tears, hugs and laughter always out way the dark side! A chance to reconnect with part of my family I have not seen in a decade...all of us smiling together like we had never been apart! My children giddy for the day as they played with family! fantastic memories to tuck away.
we have added a new member to our family after meeting a beautiful woman name Niecey! (along with her family too...I love it when family grows!)

Farminals..damn i raised me some fine birds this year...tasty tasty stuff! twenty more arriving September 17th.

green Stuff...I love green stuff and not looking forward to it turning all white again...with the exception of the ski~factor

Healthy Eating...see cooking tips above

I am Mama~! yes I am and loving it.

Just for fun and learning how...Just for fun and learning how? damn there is two of those labels? damn there is two of those labels..must have really been fun learning how!!!

local News that Drives me batty
~! Living just outside the small town of Callander, Ontario I admit I felt a sense of (new) hometown pride when I realized a young man from town is part of the Canadian Olympic Team for Track and Field. This week in the local small town weekly paper I read a story of his DELAYED trip to Beijing after attempting to board his Air Canada flight to the games. It would seem some ANAL guard at the gates stopped young Taylor Milne and flagged his passport as unacceptable at the gate. The passport Milne admitted had gone thru the wash two years prior but noted to the guard that he had in fact just flown to Belgium the week before with the same passports, as well had obtained his Chinese Visa for the Games from CHINA? after contacting Airport Officials..the jack ass guard still stuck to his guns and denied the passport despite the fact the officials were willing to let Milne continue on his journey. His journey was delayed a full week! New passport, and then a new visa were required for our Olympian Athlete to make it to the Games. My question is ..did this Jack Ass of a Guard stop to notice Milne was wearing a Canadian Olympic Athlete Jacket? or that his carry on bag was a bag designed just for our Team Members? I dislike anal people...very much!

and another sorta local story of a 'self proclaimed environmentalist" gent from Ottawa (the cit~iot) who recently purchased some lake front property in a northern community (Kilarney) After taking his refuse to the local dump one day, he has began a campaign...calling in his 'environmental lobby friends' to join his cause. It would seem he is troubled by the fact he spotted thirteen bears at the dump eating garbage. He is concerned that there is a large campground 3kms away, what about the safety of those campers?? and the safety of local RESIDENTS. His campaign is to raise awareness of this problem to petition the local community to erect fencing around the dump to stop the bears, possibly going as far as electrifying the fence line to ensure they stay out. Now don't get me wrong...when the bear was spotted on our street last week...and returned to our neighbours within thirty minutes despite being chased off by man and dog...I was ready for the nuisance to be shot...I am Mama! update..the bear has not returned, and no tracks visible in daze. BUT is this the first time this guy has left his concrete jungle?? has he considered by closing the dump off to the bears..they will follow their noses 3kms over to those campers?? One of the best parts of long weekend fishing trips as a child was the end of the weekend, and the trip to the dump to get rid of our garbage and WATCH THE BEARS??? I am guessing any local RESIDENTS know the bears R there when they go to the dump, I even know of many local dumps that R built in consideration of the bears....a bigass hole that you lob the garbage into...the bears go down there you don't?~! I wonder if this guy and his lobby Friends are going to do the fundraising to for the cost of enclosing an entire country dump with hightech fencing for the bears too? cause from what I know of Northern Communties..there isn't really alot of money to go around....just for the bears to go under! dumbass!

Morning Chai..outta chai today..sipping on some Jasmine

Our Pets...not a post yet, I think usually under wildlife? Daisy learned the hard way over the weekend about chasing cars...not surprised however she seems to have tucked and rolled and bounced right back being annoying as ever...despite a big hole in her leg. The rodent is still surviving? and the two baby snakes in my antique can? will not be pets...will be released today!

Loony thoughts....

Hope you all have a fantastically fucking loony day!!!
