trapped into one glass of red tooo many and just tired~!

ok so, going on two weeks of nonsense now I have tried to be patient, tried to be a friend to those I have connected with...tried to see the light

now I am still walking around with a cloud in my head....with a doubt of WTF

I am ready to wipe out the list of blogs, the list that inspired me to share my daze....the friends that reminded me...of who I am~! I will not because I believe...~!

I believe in my friends...the good, the kooky, the bitchy, the whole fucking gang

I could never believe you could take thirty PLUS random folk off the street and put them in a room to see eachother connect, meet, greet and tolerate eachother for a whole year. Ups Downs and Sideways...somehow it became part of our daze to check in. Somehow there were people inspired, lifted, pushed, encouraged, and even ... HUMANLY knocked...that's life...but almost a whole year...thirty someodd people were there in a room.

I was sent a quote recently.... for every new friend that enters your life begins a new world.... a world that would never exist until that friend came along.

That is what my inspirational new friends ARE to me... a new world of inspiration, and a new world of eyes to see thru.

Those WORLDS R being torn apart right now, I have tried to play neutral, staying true to my friends ....with my connections regardless of their ways, beliefs, actions.

Now all I can ask is that ... my worlds, my friends see it all for that it was and is... a look inside a different world. A world you may want to see, one you may not...a world you can walk away from or embrace... For those you dislike....stop buying the ticket to the flight....MAKE NEW PLANS...there R many more worlds to see!!!

what a good girl you are!! YES you are a good girl~!

Rainy day monday...9:15 am and we were just about to start a day of summer school, as per Ryki's request~! Goonies to the rescue, two little ones just biked up the driveway...and I do not have to be teacher this morning...too bad cause its alot more fun than the bookkeeper role I will have to step into instead..augh!

busy weekend on the Acres...Friday we took twenty chickens to the butcher.
Time to raise the birds...May 9 to July 25
average cost thirteen bucks (including $2.90/bird for butcher..which saves me the grief of cleanup!)
weight when butchered...6-8lbs
Taste...fucking fantastic...especially with roasted with fresh baby red potatoes from the garden.
note on potatoes...being the first roast of the year...my love while I love him, is very picky about having the potatoes peeled...what the hell do you grow red then? is my opinion. So for Sunday Roast Chicken Dinner...first of 2008
I pulled a rebel...left the tasty red skin on...and even got to taste a little garden dirt~! Loony I know, but there is nothing better in my opinion.

Saturday...a trying day, rain, sun, thunder, yard work, kids, hubby ... LIFE~!
we managed to spend the morning making "cootie catchers" and waiting for the rain to stop. Around four PM Daddeo and the brats left on the quad for a little riding and I took a nap! just as I shut my eyes however/??? I heard that eerie thud you do not want to hear. Usually involving a pet of the household...and currently...there is only one rodent(hamster) left. I checked in Aspen's room to find that yes...my wee girl had left the cage door open and "KC" was not in there.
Checked for cats..none in house, close door, and stuff bottom to prevent escape, and wait to remind Aspen the consequences of leaving the door open, waiting to see if there was going to be more tears. 7pm the quad arrived home, and I broke the news to Aspen. While somewhat sad??? she didn't seem to be too heartbroken..life goes on ... but she was upset cause she spent 'hours cleaning the cage for her to go missing now?!" 7:30pm...watching TV I see Daisy in Ryki's room...she is in pounce mode (results of playing with cats as a pup...she pounces like them) I jump up...pull a box from the corner and....

THERE"S KC~! drenched in the scent of doggie drool, and looking a little shaken...she made it thru Aspen's room, thru the kitchen, the living room...to Ryki's room and in and OUT of Daisy's mouth!!

TOUGH LITTLE HAMSTER.....

DAMN GOOD DOG!!!!

Due to Current Weather Conditions....

The tooth fairy was unable to make it to Ryki last night because it is not safe to fly in the heavy rain, and lightning!!!
DAMN IT! I am a bad Mama and forgot to stash a couple LOONIES in under his pillow last night?! what was I thinking?! (SLEEP!)
Dad-EO came to the rescue...quickly remembering the loonie on the bathroom floor this morning and handed it to the wee man...'Here buddy, take this buck and put your tooth back...its not gonna rain tonight!"

We will see how long the tooth fairy lasts~! Atleast those R the good kind...not like the ones on HELLBOY2...those little guys were nasty buggers!

It was pouring rain this morning and now at ten am??!!! blue skies and sunshine!!!! I love living here! The lake always blows stuff away, from what I hear lots of places around us (Toronto!) have not had such fantastic weather...boo hoo...come here then! haha Gotta shut down the fangdangled machine today and get my shit together! trip to town to do the run'n, and clean the house...the dog hair~! Nishka is molting right now ...and it is very clear she has Malamute in her cause there R chunks or fur, and Daisy! good grief. Our company this weekend..dog people who I had requested they avoid bringing their female right now cause my girls have been acting like jackass'Z! It was declared that the damn dog daisy was actually a pretty good dog, but the ugliest thing they had ever seen...wtf is with her hair was mentioned many times in the course of four daze! Suggestion of the week...maybe I should DREAD the hair on her back to do something with it?! stay tuned for picks on flickr..the suggestion is interesting.

update on the Acres today for Friday

Farminals...delivered twenty to the butcher this morning..ready by 5pm...bbq Saturday eleven chickens to go...next round september (august off!!! road trips!) lost a chicken of a heart attack over the weekend...common when they get large...helped along by the company

Company...when three thirty something guys drive 6hrs for a vacation here....
1~they remember what its like to be six again...playing with sling shots and playing in the creek finding?? frogs Aspen taught them the difference between girls and boy frogs cause the rule was...don't kill the mama's Ryki told the 'fathertobeinsept" not to shoot one of the biggies cause it was his
"B-otch" (thanks beach boy for bringing that word home!)
2~they remember what its like to be thirteen again when they spend their nights by the fire running from it to avoid the shrapnel, and explosions from the various things they found to blow up
3~Two motorcross bike broke on day one..one a clutch another a tire...thanks to our quad smiles continued
4~Boat broke in the middle of the Bay~! we paddled for a while, Ryki swam, then we gotta a toe
5~I had a fantastic fucking time~! Loved seeing my (chosen) brother for life, and the other two R great friends. No matter what happened, there was smiles and laughter the whole time voted by me and my love as the best guests of the summer soooo far....even trying to row our sorry asses to shore!

busy busy busy...sooooo many things to do and my head is spinning?! can't think when thoughts R racing thru my mind and sooo many funny stuff that should be blogged to day is clouded by nonsense! not to mention the kids are running in circles "going banana's" watching Bruno and the Banana Bunch

so today I will remember to breath...find some sunshine and clear my thoughts. When I woke up this morning I was spinning in my mind, racing thoughts of all kinds...found my book it always calms my mind as I read "how to breath"
The book, mentioned here once before my favorite...lost long ago only to be returned sort of speak by a stranger friend...my online sista...Thank you

this is what I found this morning when I looked up Wisdom...(p132-133)
The Book Minding the Body Mending the Mind , Joan Borysenko, Ph.D

It is in the section involving Mind Traps
Three levels of Understanding
1.The Beginners Mind
*With any negative encounter first requires a sense of perspective...clearing the decks of opinion
"Understanding begins with the admission of our ignorance"
2.Taking Responsibility
*for our own actions
3. Wisdom
"Understanding is progressive"
insight arising from a calm blame free perspective

"Wisdom, unlike rationalization, always feels like relief. Once you understand that your goal is to change, rather than accuse, your mind will come to your aid"

Caution notes (directly from the book!)
"the most common disaster in applying this system is in thinking you have someone else's number. DON"T analyze other people's mind traps" (ya don't have enough data for that~!)
"you can only be responsible for your own process"

Six most Common Mind Traps
1. Negative personal beliefs
2Social Beliefs
3Doing it My way
4Rationalizing
5Dillusionment
6Despair

This Loony is going to breath and try not to fall into a trap
smile peeps...it feels alot fucking better~!

only two more sleeps to go (insert frown)

I can't believe its Thursday already~! where the hell did the week go? busy i suppose...but also means that our last week with the beach boy is coming to an end and he will have to go home Saturday. We always make a big deal counting the sleeps till his arrival...no one wants to think about the departure. Always a transition when he leaves in the summer. He will go home but still call for JANE when he needs her, forgetting she is not there, and the kiddies here sad and beginning their count down again til the next visit.

But we have managed to have some fun along the way...magicshow, beach fun, HELLOBOY TWO~! (i liked the first better) even a trip to McDonald's thanks to Auntie Stix~!

The memories that stand out in the week????
(note: my brother Wayne arrives Saturday from Montreal for almost a weeks visit~! I will be mIA as we generally have tonnes of fun...this year he is bringing motor cross bikes ~! woohoo)

Monday...When Gramma called to wish Ryki happy bday (he was sleeping sunday) and asked him what he did for his big day...this was his response....
"we went and got some coke and seem alll kinds of magical things" (insert picture of gramma pissing her pants laughing for a translation~!)
translation.....
it is such a rare occasion that my kids R allowed "black pop" getting the coke-a-COLA was the best part of the day...when we attended a magic show at the local legion~!
Tuesday...Hellboy and the golden army..not enough action tooo much sap $21bucks for tickets for five and $24.50 for 4pops and lg popcorn ..my pic in the bathroom mirror@ the theatre? notso priceless but fun ~! I am loving those shots
Wednesday...Mcbarf's for lunch..including me~! I triple dog dared my aunti to take her photo in the bathroom mirror...She did it~! even better...she enjoyed it! must remember to remind people to turn off flash...must also teach aunti how. my shot-taking had a brainwave...prepare camera setting in the stall first...then I am ready to shoot....not look like a bumbling fool when in rfront of mirror (see flickr soon...i took photos of that too ~!)
Also hit the beach...ahhh the beach

Thursday ... cloudy rainy dull sorta day...we will see what comes next its only lunch time now~!

re: the twitterfactor..still just a couple people on my list...but I am enjoying it being the junkie that I am with this fangdangled machine~!

Confessions in a Moo Moo

ahh...the moo moo daze of summer~! Today on the list..typical boring chores of laundry, stupervising fric frac and freak (today an extra goonie too) and waiting for the next round of "what time is it?" and "does that mean we R not going?"

Todays Confessions...

1~ this cheapskate Mama's blowing the wad tonight on Hellboy2. Keeping with my ways of course tonight is cheapnight Tuesday, and I will be hitting the dollar store to fill up on smuggled candy for the show..........another confession with this? I am going to have to find a purse to put the smuggled candy in, and that could be a tricky find...not often does this loon carry a handbag
2~ I have opened up and exposed my flickr habits to contacts on that other site...friends, and family hooked on 'crackbook' Tired of posting photos here and there, and fighting with the five photo upload limit of 'the book', and wanting to share the goods with loved ones. This has resulted in a new member to flickr...My Mom~! Mama Van online, proud Gramma to the brats, and possibly the new thorn in my side....guess who gets to teach her the ways? Unless of course???? our mutual good friend Bev...who lives much closer happens to be able to show her some of the ropes. With the announcement of flickr.....there opens the door to my blog. Something I have not made 100% public, why I do not know. Anything said here is something I would stand behind, and believe to be true.....so here goes .......who finds the needle in the haystack and my written word. HELLO~! YOU R HERE AND FOUND ME!! WELCOME...sit back and enjoy the ride.
3~ Along my journey here, flickr, and on the rblogger ride I have come to fall in love with a new inspiration. A stranger friend who I have come to enjoy...reading her blog, seeing her photos...Her SMILE ...HER ART~!
Linda Woods
insert....terrible confession...I am that lazy a post will follow with all the links~! If I were dedicated and true I would battle the computer woes of this sucky machine and have the links on my blog24-7~! I read her blog daily, and recently discovered her Twittering...Twitter I have heard of before, a little status line of life to enjoy. but I have found myself enjoying it often....sometimes many times a day. I thought perhaps I was a weirdo @ first...stalker like maybe? Until a friend of mine sent a message asking me to update my crackbook status more often....she has my line go to her cell phone updated daily?! (the technology/? wow I am behind LOL) someone stalking my lines??!! maybe I am notso weird after all!!! So today I am officially a twitter-er~! Easy access to smiles, and updates on my fav artist..new friend~!...LW, and a bonus...cause I only have two so far...my fav hairdoer to the stars...Jake~! we will see where this goes...another thing to occupy the time I should be elsewhere...another frustration as I try to remember how to shrink my freak'n head for the profile shot....and another addiction to explore (I have updated twice~!)

there were smiles, laughter...and tears

Monday morning and the birthday celebrations R finally over. I realized this weekend preparing, shopping and shooting photos...it was the first "birthday party" with friends for Ryki EVER?! We have always had family and cake to celebrate, but never a party which included friends....this one with the best kind of friends...our fellow goonies.

Saturday morning began with a 9:30am call from a couple of the goonies, showing up at the door with two hamsters in a popcorn box, ready for Aspen to choose which one she wanted...The rodent has arrived. My love however did his typical turn around when he spied the TWO hamsters. Despite his morning coffee verdict of 'I did not authorize a new pet, let alone a rodent" seemed to change his mind when he told everyone..."oh hell we might as well take them both" So cage set up, Aspen with her little "KC" and Ryki with his "Max", we R now a couple more animals ahead. Now fast forward less than four hours, outside getting ready for the party when Aspen came out, tears flowing, and frowning she told me "Mama, I lost Ryki's hamster...I think he is in my room, but I can't find him" Yup...we R now down to ONE hamster cause as of this morning...Max is still MIA...soon to be 'presumed eaten by cat" augh~! Luckily Ryki's heart did not connect with the little guy yet, so his heart is not broken.

The birthday party went off well. Kids having fun, playing in the creek, playing with frogs and creating animal balloons, and balloon hats...NOTE: an air compressor saves your brain cells when blowing up these balloons...my love was the hero of the day~! Luckily for us, a party attended by the goonies...rain will not slow them down...just gets them wetter~! Our little neighbour buddies turned up late for the party, they spent the day at their neighbours selling their goods at a yardsale. I couldn't resist giving them huge hugs when they arrived with presents for Ryki...carefully purchased items from the sale that day with money they had made....so sweet~! not to mention cool gifts including a weather study kit with computer disks and ten projects to complete, and a new triangle game that looks like fun.
and finally Sunday...the big mans actual birthday. We had a magic show to attend, which Ryki knew..that we were going to something, but had covered his ears and 'blah blah blah'd" so it was a surprise when discussed. It was a pretty cool show, tricks with flames, rabbits, birds, even a disappearing act. And the face on the volunteer wee man when the hand chopping trick came on stage....priceless ~!poor kid~! he did not put his hand in the box..in fact he held his own hand away from the magician and shouted "no freaking way" after seeing the celery chopped in half. Ryki and Aspen made it to the stage for the sing-a-long with the magicians assistant...but puzzled looks came out as if to say 'what the hell is this song" perhaps better to choose a song everyone knows? cause from the thirty kids on stage...I think I saw two singing. The rest were in a blank stare looking into the audience..Ryki with the classic 'wtf am I doing here?" look on his face

so now back to the work week, I have a bunkie to clean as my fav Aunty Stix is coming for a visit, four heads to count, as our little buddy ...my Nemesis Tara stayed over last night .... cool little kid, with a huge attitude, used to telling adults what to do sorta girl...we have an understanding her and I ...I think she understands I am a no bullshit kinda Mama, and I have come to understand why we love butting heads sooo much. Turns out my nemesis and I share....
the same birthday, essentially placing two very strong LEO's in the same jungle....she giggles and tells me now 'its my jungle you know' I giggle back and tell her "I know" secretly planning my take over~!

Can U hear it?! YES I CAN~!

guess what turned up yesterday?~! My freak'n phone was finally discovered yesterday after My Love had a brain wave and thought to check down in the bunkie. There it was sitting all alone on the table just waiting for a fresh battery charge. and there I was confirming my thoughts of mental possession...cause who else would take the phone down there? not me because I know..there isn't really any reception anyways?! and even if it wasn't My Love who put it there...I am going to blame him anyways~! Still its gonna be nice, and save me money cause there has been one tooo many *69's these past daze to see who's call we have missed.

Today the crunch is on for me though...when I leave this mornings blog I will start the to do list...
To Do
1. get the little dirty goonies in the tub
2. try to scrape out the last bits of 18hr lipstick from the tube for one last application till I buy a new one. (made claims to my love today bout needing to get food for the animals...really I need a new lipstick.....I am in need of relentless raisin ASAP
3. go to town, do the banking the feed supplies and bday party stuff....48hrs to go till the Acres is filled with goonies for the day to celebrate my wee man Ryki...turning SIX I can't freak'n believe its been that long
4. chop down the chives...its time for a fresh batch to grow I think
5. send a cheque to our awesome accounting God...YES I actually finished the taxes...late as usual..but thanks to THE MAN no penalties to face cause he got us (well not me..I am just an unemployed MAMA) a REFUND~! woo hoo
6. start thinking...new glasses woo freak'n hoo~! two armed glasses here I come...and with any luck...sunglasses too..which I swear I am not going to lose this time

stuff stuff stuff...better get my ass in gear~!
but final notes....
In the garden...my tee pea is growing like crazy with this recent weather...I found three pea pods yesterday~! happy happy happy for fresh peas. The asparagus hunt yesterday scored a spear for each of the kidlets...two of those being over a foot long...lucky grab those ones~! and still more popping through I am hoping to get some more planting in at some point...everything seems to be one month behind this year so whatever is planted now will be hit and miss I think if it grows
Wildlife...my Love has had enough of the daily snakes and enlisted the help of the lawn mower to take out a couple..now the mower is broke but he is keeping an old fashion sigh(SP?) handy for be-heading
Ryki spent twenty minutes the other day playing ring around the tree with a 'chippy' so cute the little guy (chippy) seemed to enjoy it as much as Ryki. Unusual around here...they R not usually so friendly much to the dismay of the kidlets. We have a friend that has a friendly chippy, he will come right up on your shoulder and take peanuts from your pocket, hand etc. Aspen has always loved that chippy, but gets frustrated when she can't catch them. I caught her a few years ago playing with one and asked her why she had her boots off....with a smile and a tee hee she said....I put a peanut in the boot, so when he goes for it I can catch him~! That was at the tender age of three?! wow how time flies~!

so off to the chores, preparations, and party plans.....party Saturday, bday Sunday and surprise celebrations for Ryki Sunday afternoon. We have been invited to join some friends for a magic show at 2pm...should be fun~!

oh ya...it finally kicked in yesterday...my beach boy is in full Shoeless action...I love that kid sooo much~! one more week to keep him home with us...ahhh~! with any luck some fishing next week with Dad...he may actually take a day off~!

if I had an answering machine....

Hi you have reached the Racine Crew
We cannot answer the phone right now because we cannot find the fucking thing. Our home office intellifax is plugged in but rings at random, or is just possessed like the rest of the electronics around here. Please if you call let it ring and ring and ring...you might just get lucky, and don't bother trying the cell phone cause the old man lost that too last weeek!

Thanks, and have a fantastic fucking day................beep

I am wondering now....

1. do you think Ryki would just go "ga ga" over a brand new cordless phone for his birthday this weekend?

2. maybe it isn't just the electronics being possessed around here....MY LOVE was in possession of both phones, and now they R both missing?! either that or he has to start checking the back seat of the quad more often before ripping off for a ride~!

A home filled with giggles and laughter~!

My beautiful beach boy..my bonus son Alex is finally home for summer holidays~! Fourteen daze of giggles, smiles and laughter. Fric, Frac and Freak R together again for some fun filled summer fun. I am a smiling Mama. Today is day three, usually by day five things swing into full gear. An only child @ his Mom's it usually takes a few daze to swing my boy back into Shoeless shape, figuring out that Mom doesn't organize every minute of the day for you...here you play with your imagination, not the video games, or a trip to the mall. I am sure his McBarf's withdrawals will kick in by next weekend...but after the dinners he has had the last couple of nights...I am pretty sure he will get over it. BBQ Chicken, rice and Asparagus last night...he ate three helpings~! no wonder he is growing soooo much. And the fact he gobbled the Asparagus...made me smile even more. While not a picky eater really..he does not do flavor. no sauce on rice, no dressing on salad, just plane is fine for my boy. The Asparagus however was bbq'd with ginger, soya, and sesame...so with my fingers crossed I put it on his plate. Only to get a smile and "geeze Annette, I have missed your good cooking this is the best Asparagus ever~!".....yes I am a happy Mama~!

Now for the local soap box drama that I left you all with in the last post....the aggitation, the itch to bitch so to speak.
It started with the dog drop, when I met the neighbour outside and calmly asked if her old man did not hear me the previous night when I said I would be unable to take care of the dog. Puzzled she asked why, and I explained (still calm) that after the past daze, I had come to realize that what they considered respect for friends was drastically different than what my love and I considered respect. And after finding out that our "friends' had spent the previous couple of months discussing me, and another man I was no longer interested in playing the friendly nieghbourhod dog sitter. Needless to say...she snapped righted away playing the innocent, cursing the f-u's and the f-off thens, to which I (still calmly) replied..."I just do not want to be involved in the bullshit, and do not want my name being brought into the games" Right away there was claims and blames put onto her husband, claiming it was all said in jest, a joke, a shock factor that her hubby is known for loving. I suggested that perhaps it was time she stood up to the plate and told her husband to stop, or told those involved it was a ridiculous accusation...and "a joke" because it is in the end affecting people's lives and family. Still shouting the fu's to me, she replied that 'maybe you shouldn't make a habit of having other women's husbands here when your's is not" note: her husband is the only HUSBAND ever here...and is never invited just always shows up. So then I snapped...I tried to remain calm the whole time, I tried to just get my point of ...I know about the bullshit and now it MUST stop. I told the neighbour that it is none of her f'n business who comes down the road to visit us, and she needs to mind her own f'n business and stay the f outta mine....if she has an issue with where her husband goes take it up with him.
Shortly after that exit....in my driveway arrived the "offended" girlfriend. And after a coffee, tea and chit chat...things have been squared away...quite calmly and easily...straight forward, no bullshit, and even an apology on her part for falling into the trap to begin with. I mean really, I am a SAHM with two kids 24-7? did they all really think I turn to the kids and say...please go into the house to play video games so I can have a nooner with this guy?!

At the end of the day though, I would have to say the true colors were shown to all those involved. There was those that respected me enough to come and face me, discuss and apologize, and there was one who chose to tell more lies, and wait till ten oclock at night to phone me looking for an apology for the ambush she got??? and try to continue the drama, I made it clear that if she was sticking with the "i had no clue" story, than I was sorry,(not_I don't believe her!) but she better take a step back and think about how she would react, and then realize that if it was her hubby's fault...his bullshit just ran downhill and she was the one at the bottom. This was the last thing I wanted..more drama, I just wanted it to be done, taken care of, and faced up to. My main concern, being MAMA was that there are five children who have become friends involved here, and I do not want them to be casualties of some stupid game, or joke.
so thats that..done and over, I may be the bitch at the end of the street now, but atleast I am not the tramp anymore~!

ahhh Monday...errands to run, neverending weeding to complete, and pictures to take~!

wowzers...its been a while~!

and while I should be cleaning up my house for company arriving this afternoon...I am here instead for a catch-up blog..........so lets see whats been happening on the Shoeless Acres....

hmmm....

Company/Guests/visiting Family
nine daze of company we went thru last week...and all I can say is
1. Family that lives a few short doors down the street from eachother, and spends all their normal daze together? Should NEVER go on vacation together...EVER! Infact when it comes to my visiting city mice from the big smoke? I will be mailing out a calendar @ xmas this year for them to pass around and book their separate vacations next summer
2. It really is amazing how different parenting techniques can be...I am sticking with my I am Mama, but this Mama was ready to give another Mama a time out in the naughty spot this week
3. Over all...a fantastic time, I love my loud obnoxious scrapping family, and can't wait to see them all again...separately of course!
4. For those folk that call you up and request a stopover stay for a night enroute to somewhere else.....and then decide to just stay put on the Shoeless Acres for the long weekend instead.....again a lovely visit, but don't ask me why my house isn't soooo tidy when you know that I am coming off a week of guests, and steak dinner for 11adults......I will clean the damn house when everyone is finally gone......if you don't like...feel free to carry on down the road.

Wildlife on the Acres....
1. We R finding snakes on a regular (daily)basis now, and understand why there was a note on the front door when we originally looked at this place "please leave door closed, the snakes R coming in"
2. my farminals (chickens) R now categorized as wildlife. It would seem my new menu plan for my birds this year is a success. Much bigger than last year, but they R fiesty little cannibals in the morning when its time for breaky. It started with making sure I had pants and full shoes on, because they peck peck peck at me when I enter the coup. But after recieving almost blood drawing Pecks, and not like the bruised legs I now go inside with full armor... a shield to keep the beasts back while I fill their feeder. two more weeks to go...and they R outta here and into the freezer! with any luck I will be able to pick up half a dozen turkeys in a week or so and get them rock'n for xmas

The Garden....growing blooming and popping like crazy
veggies R looking great...but many weeds to deal with. We have croppped our first radishes already and they R tasty. I think I will be cro0pping some leaf lettuce soon, and still manage to find a few spears of asparagus each week...which are still as thick as my thumb...which means there are still more to come (woo hoo) I actually found a patch of blueberries yesterday too! didn't have much last year so very happy to find some this year. We will be heading out to Castle Rock soon to check the berries there! The biggest blueberries I have ever seen on a beautiful piece of property we called home for a while...can't wait!

Aggitation...today is the day I finally deal with an itch in my craw. a reminder why in the past I have always avoided association with the neighbours. For a couple months now, I have noticed a little bit of things being off when hanging with the neighbours. Couldn't understand why it seemed like the woman in the group were...being f'n rude to put it simply. I have come to discover that apparently that same person who has been dropping her dog off at my door step mon-fri 9-5 has also been suggesting some VERY unflattering things about me. Things that should not be said, that basically could affect my family, and suggestions of me being unfaithful to my hubby. So that is all gonna come to an end to day when she arrives to drop off her pissing in my house, teasing my dog, chewing kids toyz puppy. I will be "calmly" explaining since our views of respect for friends R so drastically different...maybe its better off if she stays on her own side of the road...and the fuck away from mine. I do not want to start anything....but I damn well better get a f'n apology from atleast three people before I become the friendly neighbour again~!

so...the sun is shining and I have cleaning to do~!
